Thanksgiving Near Morgan Hill: Which Turkey Trot, Which Table, and Which Menus Still Aren't Posted

October 29, 2026

The closest Thanksgiving buffet to Morgan Hill with confirmed 2026 details is at Temecula Creek Inn, on Rainbow Canyon Road. The carving station there opens at noon on Thursday, November 26. Both turkey trots on the Temecula calendar start on the other side of the city, at 7 and 8 a.m., four to five hours before that buffet opens. Run in the morning, eat in the afternoon, and what remains is a short list of deadlines that fall at different points in November.

Those deadlines are the part to plan around. One race already raised its price. Another closes registration two days before the holiday. The nearest resort to Morgan Hill has not posted a 2026 Thanksgiving menu yet.

Both Starting Lines Are Across Town

Each of the two Thanksgiving morning races fits a different kind of household.

The Temecula Turkey Trot & Food Drive runs from 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. at 28582 Harveston Drive. The race page calls it a flat, fast 5K that you can walk or run. Registration shows as $48.70, which includes a $3.70 fee. Online sign-up closes November 24 at 11:59 p.m. The race's RunSignup page still says "2025" in its title, but the date printed under that title is Thursday, November 26, 2026, so it is this year's event.

Zero Clucks Given, from the Hobby Joggers race series, is listed at Relentless Brewing, 42030 Avenida Alvarado, Suite F. Everything on its card starts at 8:00 a.m.: a 5K and a 10K for ages 7 and up, plus a free Lil' Turkey Trot for kids 6 and under. Early registration was $27.50 for the 5K and $32.80 for the 10K, fees included. Both prices were set to rise after 11:59 p.m. on October 31. That date has passed, and the Hobby Joggers registration page shows the current amount when you check out.

Bring Three nonperishable food items Nothing listed

The Harveston race is the only one with an end time printed. If the plan is to get home and showered before a noon reservation, that 9:00 a.m. finish gives you a fixed hour to work back from.

Where the Food Drive's Cans Actually Go

The Harveston race asks each participant to bring three nonperishable items for the Circle of Care Food Pantry. According to Circle of Care, the pantry has provided free groceries for more than 25 years. It runs a drive-through distribution at Crossroads Church, 26090 Ynez Road, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9:45 a.m. to noon. No sign-up or qualification is required. It serves up to 200 families per distribution, first come, first served.

Its posted holiday schedule shows the pantry closed November 26 and 27, 2026, which is Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after it. Normally Thursday and Friday are distribution days. So the cans dropped off at the race on Thursday morning cannot go out that day or the next. The first regular distribution after the holiday is Tuesday, December 1. Food collected on Thanksgiving morning goes out the following week.

The same pantry also serves as a main hub for Toys for Tots in Southwest Riverside County. A family that runs the Harveston 5K is already connected to the next holiday drive.

Noon at Rainbow Canyon Road

Corkfire at Temecula Creek Inn, 44501 Rainbow Canyon Road, has the closest confirmed 2026 Thanksgiving service to Morgan Hill. Its Thanksgiving page lists two seatings for Thursday, November 26:

  • Thanksgiving Breakfast, 7:30 to 11 a.m., from an à la carte menu
  • Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet, 12 to 5 p.m., at $95+ per adult and $45+ per child 11 and under

The buffet includes ember-roasted dishes, chef-carved turkey, cedar plank salmon, herb-crusted ribeye, braised short rib, seasonal sides and traditional holiday favorites. Separate breakfast and dinner menus are linked on the page, and reservations are taken through OpenTable.

The two seatings line up with both races. A household could skip the run and take the 7:30 a.m. breakfast. A runner who is done by mid-morning lands in the gap between breakfast ending at 11 and the buffet starting at noon. A family that wants to finish eating before an evening at home has until 5 p.m. The kids' price stops at age 11, which is close to the cutoff where the Hobby Joggers kids' trot ends and its regular races begin.

The Wine Country Table, and the One Next Door

If you want the meal farther out on Rancho California Road, Bolero Restaurante at Europa Village, 41211 Via Europa, is serving a Thanksgiving Feast Buffet from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The last seating is at 3 p.m. Prices are $89 for adults and $39 for children 5 to 12. Children 4 and under eat free. Europa Village members pay $80.10 per adult and $35.10 per child. Reservations are by call or text at 951-972-5715.

Next to Corkfire, the details that differ are the cutoffs. Bolero opens an hour earlier, seats its last table two hours before closing, and lets the youngest guests eat free. Its children's rate runs to age 12, one year past Corkfire's. A family with a 4-year-old and a 12-year-old would pay for only one child at Bolero.

Pechanga is the resort closest to Morgan Hill, and its holiday plans are not on the calendar yet. The Thanksgiving menus on pechanga.com are filed under 2025. The current Journey's End page lists the regular Sunday brunch buffet, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at $58 for adults and $30 for kids. It does not list a Thanksgiving service. The 2025 menus show what Pechanga served last year. They are not a price or menu for 2026. If you are waiting on Pechanga, Corkfire and Bolero are the two confirmed options in the meantime.
